The Gate - find your way through a dying, overheated forest in which the only hope for survival lies in your ability to learn the languages spoken by non-humans. But beware: monsters exist. That which saves you may also be your demise.

The Gate - When the ongoingness of life on Earth is threatened by climate disruption and ecological collapse, new forms of engagement with non-human beings become a matter of life or death.

The Gate was inspired by the writings of Donna Haraway, Bruno Latour and Timothy Morton, as well as the dark narrative works of Antoine Volodine. It also draws from Mircea Eliade's studies on shamanism.

The Gate is a browser-based game that can be played online for free.
